To do lists, diaries and work

As some of you may know, I have been lucky enough to get a part time job at Kent and the Wider World (KWW), part of Commonwork, also in Kent.

Fab, but I realised that going back into the “real world” means I need a few things: one of which is a diary. We have a giant wall calendar, (that I have been fretting about how to get a 2009 version), but I haven’t needed a small diary this year, as I only needed to remember when baby group was, or when vaccinations were due. So of course I hit eBay, but really couldn’t find anything I would be happy bringing into an office, and most of the diaries were from commercial sellers.

Then I looked into printing out something that would tide me over until the new year, when I stumbled across the amazing people at http://www.diyplanner.com This site has absolutely everything I need. Not just printable diaries, but whole organizing templates akin to a very large and expensive Filofax. Print and/or adapt what you need, on recycled paper and make the perfect diary/organiser/planner. Fantastic!

So I have been busy printing out my new diary, with actions lists and the like, on scrap paper. I found a slip cover for an old A5 diary some clips and voila! Problem solved in a far more satisfactory manner than I thought would be possible.
